Race Events
With 13-14 official race days a year, running from February thru November
with a summertime break. KSC events draw all types and sizes of sailboat
along with skippers and crews of varying skill levels who enjoy the thrill
of competition while expanding their sailing education in a friendly aquatic
arena. |
Non-Race Events
The lee side of our volcanos protects the near shore area from most of
heavy weather and encourages new-comers to get their hulls wet as often
as they want. Non-racers are of course welcome and club tries to schedule
cruising and over-nighter events tailored to their needs
Social Events
As an all-volunteer, non-profit organization, KSC expects all members to
get involved in helping the club function, both on and off the water. The
dress code is shorts, shirts and slippers and good camaraderie is always
